Born in Melbourne in 1989, Indoor Outdoor Imports is a proud family-owned business dedicated to supplying Australia’s finest commercial and domestic market umbrellas, awnings, and café barriers.
For more than 30 years we have been supplying high end commercial quality Market Umbrellas, Cafe Barriers, Blinds and Folding Arm Awnings for both domestic and commercial applications.
Indoor Outdoor Imports was born back in 1989 with a range of Italian style timber Market Umbrellas for use at home.
We then developed the Commercial Aluminium and Bambrella Bamboo range that quickly became a popular solution for the growing outdoor entertainment and domestic market.
Hospitality outlets recognized the value of branding umbrellas and the promotional Cafe Umbrella became our bestselling item.
We have continued to evolve the range to satisfy our customers’ requirements and we can produce custom sizes to satisfy council requirements for any trading zone. To compliment the Café Umbrella range, we also supply Café Barriers to complete the trading zone message.
In addition to our extensive range of umbrellas, Indoor Outdoor Imports also import and distribute a range of our own Folding Arm Awnings including Full Cassette, Heavy Duty for commercial applications and Light Duty inexpensive awnings for home.
For a more weatherproof system we can also supply and install Café Blinds and Retractable Roof Systems.

After a significant time spent on trying to find umbrellas that were both available, and reasonably priced, I was ready to give up when I came upon this business. After one encouraging phone call, I stopped by and received excellent advice and service. A few days later, two very good umbrellas perfect for my needs and budget were delivered to my Mornington Peninsula, set up quickly without fuss and my problem was solved. Having bought umbrellas several times previously, it seemed to me that this industry has a lot of participants who have cheap, low quality products, and some who have good products but at outrageous prices. The product installed (cafe awnings) was of high quality. Martin, David and the team made the process from start to finish so easy as well as took on a few extra tasks we requested to resolve all our concerns or rather requirements. For example, cut down the outdoor umbrellas to allow the awnings cover a further area of our outdoor seating area, and then repair another outdoor umbrella which was out of operation for 2 weeks which they free of charge and the little things like taking the time to simply screw if the remote control bracket onto a wall. A great Aussie, true, down to earth family business. Highly recommend their products and services. Absolutely rapt!!
