Indoor Outdoor Imports was established in 1988 in Smith Street Collingwood

IOI started out as a retail store called David’s Economy Shop, selling a variety of goods.

The large Italian Style Market Umbrella’s that David was importing from China soon dominated the business and IOI became a wholesale supplier to the food and beverage industry. IOI continued to sell to the public at factory direct prices and continues to service the Commercial and Home Markets offering quality and affordability. Our exclusively designed products continue to improve and evolve with our customer’s requirements.

The fabric on my folding arm awning had been deteriorating for years, and after reaching out to five different companies - most of whom either never responded or else gave me outrageously expensive quotes - I finally found Martin and David B from Indoor Outdoor. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and within hours of contacting them, my awning had been fully rejuvenated for much less than anticipated. I highly recommend their service!

We are a second time customer of Indoor Outdoor Imports. A friendly and knowledgeable team. Seems natural to them to go the extra-mile. We wanted a special coloured valance trim with extra length, and for the fabric to roll-over the front bar of our new awning - they sourced the fabric and specified changes at no extra cost. Happily travelled the 140km to complete the installation, test it and do a handover. A big thank you - very happy with the outcome.

These guys are just so helpful. Have purchased a couple of bambrellas from them.Umbrellas are fantastic but after years of use needed a bit of fixing up. They repair at a very reasonable cost and even posted a couple of missing screw for nothing. Will never go anywhere else.
